Book a roomThe garden palace at the end of the canals
Lustheim Palace is the Schleissheim palace nearest to us. Max Emanuel built it as a retreat for hunting and for parties in the open air. From the palace the view runs along the long axis of water that structures the park.
Today the building belongs to the Bavarian Palace Administration and shows a collection of Meissen porcelain. Even if you do not go inside, you get your money’s worth: the garden with its beds and avenues is free to walk through and is one of the quietest corners of the complex.
